This group is for Biggar u3a members who have had a big change in their life, such as a bereavement, life-changing illness or a move.
The purpose of the group is to give members support to move on, adjust to new circumstances and make a new start so they can make the most of life and remain as independent as possible.
Information will be provided about where to get help. There will be no obligation to share personal information at the group. Confidentiality and privacy are a top priority. 'A problem shared is a problem halved'. By meeting others with the same worries, members may come to feel that their situation is more manageable.
