
Membership of Biggar and District u3a entitles you to attend any of our Open Meetings or events and to join any of our Groups.
You can also choose to receive by post the u3a magazine Third Age Matters.
Part of the membership fee also includes a capitation fee paid to the National u3a for public liability insurance, administration and support services.
Our membership year runs from 1st September.
Current fees are shown on the application form.
You can join (or renew) by POST or ONLINE or at an OPEN MEETING
By Post
- Download a Membership form, print it and fill it in
- Post it to the address shown on the form
- Don't forget to enclose a cheque
- If you would like your membership card posted to you, enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
- Otherwise you can collect your membership card at the next Open Meeting
Online
- Download a Membership form and fill it in
- Email it to the address shown on the form
- Pay your subscription by bank transfer using the details given on the form
- Don't forget to quote your name followed by /sub as a reference
- Your membership card will be available for collection at the next Open Meeting
At an Open Meeting
- Please ask to speak to a Committee Member
- A membership form will be available for you to fill in
- Pay by cash or cheque
- You will be given a membership card

Biggar & District u3a collects contact details from its members in order to be able to send them information about meetings and other events organised by us. We do this because it is in Biggar & District u3a’s legitimate interest to publicise our meetings and events to our members. Your details are stored securely by our committee, and will be deleted when you cease to be a member. You can ask us to amend or delete your details at any time.
