At 19, Daniel Ward, an Explorer Scout from Carstairs, was chosen to go for a once-in-a-ifetime trip to Antarctica.

Daniel will give a presentation about his three week trip, where he followed in the footsteps of fellow Scottish scout James Marr (on the right in this photo), who accompanied Ernest Shackleton on his last trip to Antarctica in 1922.

This promises to be an extremely interesting talk.
