Local hero Gary Watkins will talk to the u3a in January.

Surely everyone in Biggar is proud of his team and the work they do for the children of Ukraine. Gary and his charity regularly deliver essential supplies such as medical equipment, baby formula, nappies and warm clothing directly to hospitals, children's homes and orphanages in Ukraine. He will be talking to us about his experiences and also telling us how we can help him.

The venue for this talk will be confirmed following the November Open Meeting, when members will have a chance to feed back about St Mary's Hall, Biggar Kirk, which we will use for open meetings during the refurbishment of Biggar Bowling Club.
