This Walking Group currently has 24 members with between 10 and 15 meeting on a regular basis, depending on personal commitments.

Our walks range from 2.5 to 5 miles finishing around 11.30am to 12.00 midday for tea/coffee (and possibly even a cake for some) in the Gillespie Centre. On occasions we walk outside the environs of Biggar, when a light lunch is usually available to be had, near or at the end of the walk. For these walks we use shared and/or public transport.

If this seems too far, you can always join the 'Easy Walking and Socialising' group on a Thursday.

The Friday walking group is at capacity at the moment and is not actively recruiting, but please contact the group leader as vacancies do arise from time to time due to obvious reasons.
